MEET THE TEAM

Eve Bassett

Eve came to know Christ after being delivered from the drug and occult culture, a transformative experience that led her to become a leader in the Jesus People Movement of the early 1970s. This revival brought hundreds of young people to the Lord and ignited her passion for ministry. Amid her roles as a wife and mother to three daughters, Eve helped plant and co-pastor the Church of Abundant Life, where she has served as Lead Pastor for many years.

Under her leadership, Abundant Life Church has been deeply involved in unity initiatives, city-wide and national outreach efforts, and a strong focus on missions. The church has supported mission work in Alberta (First Nations), Kazakhstan, and Rwanda.

Eve is blessed with three son-in-laws and eight grandchildren, all of whom are part of the Assembly, sharing in her commitment to faith and ministry.
